The main character. 16 years old. A bit wild, a lot of spunk in her. Very athletic and not easily frightened. She speaks her mind (likes to defy?) and is very determinded. She chose to stay a gray, because she wants to be an individual and rather not listen to anybody's orders or join in 'childish' fights.

The comic relief in the manga, Tetsuta is very funny, cute and out going. He was the first 'grey' Hina met, stole her first kiss (and 2nd ^^), her first friend, and also ranked first in the level (wow..so many 1sts ^^;). He aids Hina on her 'quest' to change the school.

In almost every shoujo manga, there's a guy who is cool, calm, quiet, good looking and popular. The leader of the Whites, Isshiki is that guy, only he's a tougher nut to crack. He hardly ever smile, keeps a distance from everybody and has a weird obsession with cleaniness.

Nishizaki Kaito

Nishizaki is the big bad wolf ^^ The dark and brooding type, he's the Black's leader. He has an awful temper, likes to get into fights, and is what Hina calls 'stupid'. He is usually wears an 'evil' grin/smirk on his face. His mortal enemy is Isshiki (and likewise).

Mishima Kyouichi

The brother of Hina's mother. 29 years old, very famous artist. Probably the reason why she got into Tokiwa High. He takes care of her ever since the 'accident' a few years ago. Moves around a lot, that's why Hina transferred 8 times. He likes to 'disappear' for a few days without notice, and often Hina gets really worried/angry about that. He knows Hina's secret past, and avoids telling her anything. Not the typical kind of uncle, but he's cute ay?

Quiet, shy, gentle and weak willed, Ruu is the complete opposite of Hina. She was the second to befriend Hina, having already known her when they were in elementary. But Hina can't recall who she is. Ruu is the one who confirmed that Isshiki do indeed know Hina from the past, the three used to hang out etc. Ruu belonged to the White, but joined the Grey alliance soon after it started.


Shirayuki Tsugumi

The madonna of Tokiwa High, Tsugumi is in Grade 11, and a student councillor. She has the guys falling to her feet, even the blacks. She likes Isshiki a lot (since elementary), but he doesn't return her feelings, so she loathes Hina for 'stealing' him (but she doesn't show it). She acts all sweet and nice, but theres an ugly side to her....
