I've decided to make this page the 'sitey/miscellaneous' page. Here, you can find the story introduction, the credits page, and the site's history.
*Contains spoilers of volume one  The main character is a 16 yrs old girl, Mishima Hina. She change schools a lot (8 times) because she lives with her uncle who is an artist and moves around heaps. Anyways, her new school, Tokiwa Secondary Academy, is rather strange. Even thought it is supposed to be a non uniform school, most of the student body either wears 'white' or 'black' uniforms. Actually, by tradition, the school is divided into three groups. White, Black and Grey. If you belong to either white or black, you are required to wear your color's uniform and listen to your leader. But if you choose to be a grey, you are an individual and free to wear anything you want ... with consequences.
And if that isn't bad enough, there's the White leader, Isshiki, who acts as if he knows Hina (and she can't remember him at all). The Black leader finds that fact to be an advantage somehow, and decides to make Hina his 'pet'. You might wonder what's so strange about that? Well, all the main characters are very complex. Each have secrets and complicated pasts which makes the plot even more twisted.
 This story is really hard to explain in short. Unlike most shoujo manga, it has very little focus on romance. Infact, this story will fall under the categories of Friendship/Mystery/Drama/Comedy. Penguin Brothers ran on a shoujo magazine called Ribon, where it published monthly chapters, started in the February 2000 issue and ended last year (makes up 4 manga volumes). The author is Shiina Ayumi, better known for her older hit, Baby Love.

This has to be the first site that I made, and managed to keep running for more than a month. I wanted it to be the first ever PenBros fansite, and spent months planning on it. But Nami beat me to it =( and Fly Away officially opened on May 1st 2002. At the beginning, I wasn't thinking of making this a big site that provides lots of info, but just another collective with a cute layout (I wish!) and basic information on the series. But I wasn't satisfied with a lil'site ...so TA DA... this is the result of my... um ...hard work. I don't really know why I chose to name the site 'Fly Away'. Personally, I find it very boring and unsophisticated. I was in such a hurry to launch my site, I picked the first thing that popped into my head. So, if anyone have a really cool idea of a new name for my site, tell me!!

So, being the spunky girl she is, Hina chose to join the Greys. That's when all the trouble (or the story) starts. Anonymous people starts throwing paint balls at her, her desk is dirtied with grubs, snakes starts appearing around her, people who are a bit friendly to her are bullied. It seems like somebody out there really wants to eliminate this new Grey!! So what is a girl to do?!
