Then something hits her on the forehead that makes it look like she has a gaping wound. It freaks out Koshiba and Hirayama (they thought it was real). More of those stuff (red paint) hits her, ruining her clothes. "Who did this?! Show yourself!!" Koshiba says that the rude welcome reception has begun.

Later at the PE changing room, the three talked about what happened. Hina now understands why most people don't want to be Grey because they will be targeted for bullying. Teachers also stay out of this because that'll make them targets too. Hina wonders if the two leaders have so much power, why don't they just be friends and everything will be ok.

Koshiba explains that those two had a huge fight on the first day of school which hospitalized them for a week. They've been enemies ever since. Hina was surprised that Isshiki can be the violent type. Later in class, someone had put worms on her table. She just chucked them at the students near her, chasing them away, calling them boring.

After class, she went to look for Isshiki. Nobody wants to help or talk to her though. She guessed that's cause she's a grey. When Isshiki shows up, she hands him his handkerchief, apologizing that she can? remember him. Isshiki just looks at her intently and replies that he? never lend her anything.

Hina realized that she is shunned because she is a grey. She yells at everyone, saying they have some serious problem. She runs away and threw the handkerchief into a bin. She changes her mind and picks it up, saying she'll never give up and let them win.

A black came over and tells Hina that Nishizaki wants her. She says if he wants her, he should come find her himself. The black tied her up and lifts her over his shoulder. He takes her to Nishizaki, with Koshiba following (he wants to watch). Nishizaki asks her if Isshiki really lent her a hanky. Hina says yes, but Isshiki pretends not to.

Koshiba says that? strange because Isshiki is compulsive about cleaniness. He wouldn? use public toilets, borrow things or touch the hand rails on trains. He's really strange. Isshikis shows up. Nishizaki ask him what his relationship is with Hina. "Nothing. We just met yesterday."

He starts to leave. Nishizaki grabs Hina and starts cutting off her hair, making her go into hysteria, crying out she really can't remember who Isshiki is. Isshiki turns around and ask Nishizaki to let her go. Nishizaki grins evilly, "No, not unless you beg me?!"

"I don't know the rules of this school. I don't know how much these two hate each other either. But by the look on their faces, I know how hard it is for him to do such a thing." Hina and everyone else watch in disbelief as Isshiki kneeled and bow to Nishizaki.
