Hina is cornered at the back of the class. She is now confused …. who can she trust? Should she believe Ru, Koshiba or Isshiki …? Each of them said different things….this is so confusing for her. The rest of the class are yelling and throwing stuff at her, telling her to get lost. Someone comes and shields her. It’s Nishizaki! He actually stood up for Hina, saying that they (the others) should be blaming “Snake” since it was s/he who put the snakes there, not her. Hina asks him why he’s helping her. But he (just have to spoil the nice moment) pushes her up against the wall and says that she’s important to him because she is Isshiki's weak point. Hina wasn’t very happy at all, grabs his foot (that was holding her against the wall) and kicks him at the place where you should never kick a guy ^^; heh! Nishizaki goes @#$%^&! She goes :P and leaves the room. The rest of the class just watches in stunned silence…… -- Hina meets up with Ru, who is all teary and apologetic. She tells Hina how she’d always admired her for having such a strong character. “In elementary, you always protected me from the bullies. Can you help me now when I'm in trouble?” “Leave it to me! I’ll protect you!” -- In the computer room Koshiba is…er…trying to hack into the school computer… “My late Mum once told me … that when I’ lost, I should close my eyes and open my heart. The eyes of my heart can see who I can trust.” Hina is standing next to him. “So…can I be trusted?” Koshiba looks at her expectantly. She apologizes for being harsh, and said some really nice stuff to make it up to him (read Nami’s Translation 5). They start talking again (about Ru …Snake etc). Koshiba shows her a snake in his bag. Apparently, Snake is now targeting people closest to Hina … They hear distant screams coming from down the hallway. “Ru…!!” Snakes were coming out of the girl’s toilet. They found Ru in a cubicle, wet and unconscious with snakes hanging around her. Koshiba wakes Ru, and she starts crying about snakes etc. Hina backs away, apologizing… she runs off. “Hina?!” Koshiba takes Ru to a room to dry up. She tells him what happened, adding that she thinks Snake is a girl…! -- At the Student Council room… The vice is raving about their problems to Isshiki (Whites being bullied by the Blacks ever since the bowing incident). Isshiki simply ignores him. Shirayuki speaks up for him. “COME OUT SNAKE!!!!” Hina voice rings loudly from the PA system. She continues her angry ramblings while ALL the students in the school listen. Isshiki starts to go find her, but Shirayuki holds him back, pleading that he stop jeopardizing his reputation/position. “Don’t touch me!” Isshiki pulls his arm away and walks off. Shirayuki looks murderous (as she remembers how Isshiki wipes his fist on Hina’s shoulder in Ch 4) -- Teachers and students have gathered outside the PA room, trying to get Hina to come out. And she did, eventually, holding a baseball bat in one hand, looking… frightening. She goes kinda crazy, swinging the bat at the students near her, shouting for Snake to show himself etc. The teacher threatens to expel her, but she just yells at him. “If I’m scared, I wouldn’t have chose to be a Grey!” Isshiki punches her in the face, telling her to calm down. He sends the teacher away. “I’ll handle this”. He pushes her head against the wall when she starts rambling again. “Take your time and calm down. Tell us what happened. ” She starts crying… “I promised that I’ll protect her….but I failed ..” *sobs* Isshiki’s expression softens. Koshiba comments on how Hina never cries when she’s in a fix, only for her friends… “Oh she started crying. Isshiki, have pity on her and tell her who Snake is.” Nishizaki has on his trademark smirk. “It is you, Isshiki, that Snake likes, not the Greys.”
